PRE-ALERTS: Each team must arrive at the Captain's meeting with 22 type-written copies of any pre-alerts. Failure to do so may mean you are not allowed to play these conventions.

Appeals Committee: At the Captain's meeting on June 3rd, teams must provide the Director-in-charge with the name of a person on the team willing to serve on an Appeals Committee

COPC ENTRY: Players on teams not advancing to the Quarter-finals are eligible to enter the COPC National Final. Entry Fee is $15 per player/per session. Teams eliminated in the Quarter-final will be allowed to drop into the Final Day of the COPC with a one-board carryover.

9 TEAMS play 22 board matches against each team during the round robin with a comparison at the half of each match.
Each team will end up sitting out one match (BYE)

Open to all pairs having COPC club Qualification.

Saturday, June 7 - two session qualifying - 1pm and 7pm
- entry fee will be $15 per player per session
- field will be cut for final
- maximum carry-over to Final will be two boards.
Sunday, June 8 - two session final - 1pm and 7pm
- entry fee will be $15 per player per session

Players in the CWTC not entering the finals will be eligible to enter the COPC.

Drop-ins will be allowed from the CNTC-A and CNTC-B and will receive a carry-over of one board.

2002- VS 2003 WINNER PLAYOFF:

The winners of the 2003 CNTC-A and 2003 CWTC will play-off against the 2002 CNTC-A and 2002 CWTC winners in order to determine the teams that will playoff against Mexico to determine the 2003 Bermuda Bowl and Venice Cup representatives.

These head to head matches will take place in Penticton immediately following the determination of the 2003 winners. They will play 128 board matches.

The CNTC-A playoff matches will take place at the PENTICTON CONVENTION CENTRE on Tuesday, June 10 and Wednesday, June 11, 2003.

The winner of this match will play off against Mexico to decide on our representative to the Bermuda Bowl. The playoff with Mexico will likely be in mid-August and will definitely be held in Canada.

The CWTC the playoff the matches will take place Sunday, June 8 at the EXECUTIVE INN, and Monday, June 9 at the PENTICTON CONVENTION CENTRE.

The winner of this match will play-off against Mexico to decide on our representative to the Venice Cup. The playoff with Mexico will likely be in mid-August and will definitely be held in Canada.
