2008 Helen Shields Rookie Master Game PDF Print E-mail

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30, 2008

22 clubs took part in our annual Helen Shields Rookie-Master Game, which is named in memory of Helen Shields. Helen, who was from Thunder Bay, was a past President of the Canadian Bridge Federation. Helen was very active in teaching and introducing new players to duplicate bridge. The Bridge Centre of Niagara had the largest turnout with 32 tables or 64 pairs. The Saskatoon DBC came in second with 26.5 tables. St. Lambert BC with 22 tables and Rideau Bridge Club with 21 tables were next. The CBF would like to express its appreciation to Piotr Klimowicz for doing the analysis for this event.
