About the Results Reporting

Results are being posted as they come in. Here is how the results reporting works: When a round ends and the director is able to spare a moment (usually once the next round begins), he goes to his computer and types the results into an email. He sends the email from Montreal to the webmaster in British Columbia. When webmaster gets to her desk she checks to see if results are in and if so, she types them into an html table and uploads it to the website. This is a great improvement over earlier Bridge Weeks when we first received the results by fax, and later by telephone. Modern times have sped the process up significantly - we now often post results at the end of matches rather than just at the end of a session. Our next step will be to have someone onsite able to post results directly - at this time we do not have that ability but we're working on it!
